According to his family, the musician, known as 'El Carbonerito', died due to health complications. 'He passed away surrounded by his entire family, with much love and with God in his heart. We thank you for the affection, the company, and the support that you gave him during his life,' the family's statement reads. Rosario officially retired from the group in 2019 after a nearly 40-year career. His daughter, Andrea del Mar, recently visited him from the United States and shared an emotional message, highlighting her father's qualities during his delicate condition. 'His influence on our culture and on the salsa genre will live forever in each of us,' she expressed then on her Instagram account.
