Puerto Rican music producer Raphy Pina is once again at the center of a legal dispute due to a lawsuit related to a presumed accident on his luxury yacht, known as "Pinarazzi." The incident occurred on April 8, 2025, while the yacht was docking at Marina Puerto del Rey in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. According to documents filed in a federal court, a woman identified as Sahily Yaitza Jorge Aguayo is claiming compensation of $1 million for injuries she says resulted in the amputation of one of her fingers. The lawsuit states that a side hatch suddenly closed, trapping the middle finger of her right hand. The legal complaint indicates that the vessel continued in operation for several minutes without immediate medical assistance being requested or emergency protocols being activated. The plaintiff's lawyers assert that the lack of a timely response aggravated the injury, which later required surgery and led to an amputation. The lawsuit also includes the yacht's linked insurance company. The lawsuit directly accuses the yacht's captain, who is blamed for not stopping the maneuver despite the severity of the situation.
