Reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee revealed intimate details about his life and career during an interview with Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos. The artist spoke about episodes of violence that marked his youth in Puerto Rico and how that played a significant role in his faith.
"I'm not supposed to be here," the singer explained, to which Llanos replied that it was because he had been shot, and Yankee confirmed: "several times."

He added that when he was about to turn professional in sports, he suffered an attack in which they "injured me for life."
"In my attack, that's where they injured me for life. No, it's just that they don't know that I do limp," he assured.
